Engineering services for the Dunleavy Hall Nursing Simulation Center, a $1.5 million, state-of-the-art teaching center with three simulation suites (hospital and pediatric), med lab, control room, utility room and storage. The new facility provides “hands on” learning opportunities in a virtual reality environment. A connected debriefing/conference room with closed circuit capabilities allows students and faculty members to watch simulated procedures and scenarios in real time. Design included headwall simulation units, cameras and ceiling mounted microphones.

Additional NU projects include: Renovation of Human Resource Building #7 for the relocation of Theatre Annex space plan program needs; existing conditions study for a proposed 3,100 sf addition to the Kiernan Center weight room; and electrical design for a new fiberglass and steel cupola for Clet Hall.
