Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Working under the leadership of our senior engineers, you will be responsible for assistance in all phases of HVAC engineering including:

  • Drafting of HVAC systems using AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Production of construction documents including plans and details.
  • Become familiar with Codes and standards.
  • Energy modeling and technical analysis of HVAC systems
  • Participation in design meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • B.S. or A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology is preferred
  • F.E. Exam is a plus

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Responsible for project development and all phases of mechanical work through design, bidding, and construction; includes knowledge of CAD/Revit design of detailed building systems and contract documents.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 10+ years of relevant HVAC design experience for commercial, educational, healthcare, housing, and governmental projects.
  • Proficient in developing detailed work scopes, cost estimating, and coordinating with other project disciplines.
  • Strong client relations and teamwork skills are necessary.
  • A proven work history with a consulting engineering firm is a must.
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. PE license and LEED accreditation are a plus.

Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Working under the leadership of our senior engineers, The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for assisting in all phases of HVAC engineering design and construction administration services including:

  • Drafting of HVAC systems using AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Production of construction documents including plans, details, specifications, and equipment schedules.
  • HVAC load calculations and building performance analysis.
  • Research of Codes and standards.
  • Selection of HVAC equipment and design of complete HVAC systems.
  • Coordination with other engineering disciplines and architectural trades.
  • Participation in design discussions and meetings.
  • Documentation and analysis of existing building systems.
  • Review of contractor RFI’s, equipment submittals, and on-site construction inspection visits.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HVAC design experience in commercial, educational, healthcare, housing, and municipal projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. EIT and LEED accreditation is a plus.
