Buffalo Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for a five-story, 65,000 sf mixed-use building. The first floor will consist of commercial space for retail or a restaurant. The second floor has approximately 3,600 sq. ft. of office, and the remaining second floor through the fifth floor contains twenty-six market-rate apartments.

Amenities to the building include off-site parking, high-end appliances, in-unit laundry, elevator access, walk-through closets, central air, custom cabinets and granite countertops, and additional storage space.

The $16 million project is the first phase of the redevelopment of the eight-acre former Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo property in the Elmwood Village.
