Trico Redevelopment

$80.5 million renovation that will turn the long vacant Trico Products Corp. building into a mixed-use gateway project. When completed, the building will enclose 520,000 sf spanning six floors, with roughly equal parts hotel, apartments and commercial space. Additionally, the entire lower level and parts of the first and second floors will be dedicated to interior parking. Selective demolition of parts of the interior core will create a new courtyard, providing natural light to the building’s deeper central spaces and serving as the entry and dropoff point for hotel guests and apartment tenants. Our work for the core and shell renovation is ongoing, and we have begun work on design of the hotel and apartment spaces.

The project’s funding includes historic and brownfield tax credits from the state and federal governments. The Trico Plant No. 1 building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
