Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center

Buffalo Engineering provided engineering services to RPCCC beginning in 2007 and was awarded an A/E Term Agreement in 2018. Our projects include:

  • North Clinic: $1.5 million project involving the renovation of approximately 12,500 sf of vacant lab space located on the ground floor of the hospital into clinic space for the relocated GU/HEME Units, Blood Donor/Aphaeresis Unit and a new Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit. The project also featured the construction of a shared waiting room/lobby.
  • Intensive Care Unit Relocation: Relocation and reconstruction of the ICU suite (previously located on the 3rd floor) to the 8th floor east wing of the hospital which was previously occupied by administrative offices. The $3.5 million, 10,000 sf renovation consisted of 14 patient rooms including two isolation rooms. The patient rooms are supported by centralized monitoring stations and family support and consultation spaces.
  • Relocate Lower G.I. Suite: Conversion of the former 4,400 sf Physical Therapy Suite into a suite for lower G.I. services. Located on the first floor adjacent to the Upper G.I. Suite, the project involved eleven exam rooms, two nurses’ stations, and administrative and support spaces.
