Current Job Openings:

Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer/Designer

Responsibilities:

Working under the leadership of our senior engineers, this position will be responsible for assistance in all phases of plumbing & fire protection engineering design and construction administration services including:

  • Drafting of plumbing & fire protection systems using AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Production of construction documents including plans, details, specifications, and equipment schedules.
  • Pipe sizing and flow calculations
  • Research of Codes and standards.
  • Selection of equipment and design of complete plumbing & fire protection systems.
  • Coordination with other engineering disciplines and architectural trades.
  • Participation in design discussions and meetings.
  • Documentation and analysis of existing building systems.
  • Review of contractor RFI’s, equipment submittals and on-site construction inspection visits.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant plumbing & fire protection design experience in commercial, educational, healthcare, housing, and municipal projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; we will consider an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology or similar field
  • EIT and LEED accreditation is a plus.
  • Recent graduates will be considered.

 

Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Research of Codes and standards.
  • Selection of HVAC equipment and design of complete HVAC systems.
  • Coordination with other engineering disciplines and architectural trades.
  • Participation in design discussions and meetings.
  • Documentation and analysis of existing building systems.
  • Review of contractor RFI’s, equipment submittals, and on-site construction inspection visits.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HVAC design experience in commercial, educational, healthcare, housing, and municipal projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. EIT and LEED accreditation is a plus.
